This flat-file CMS ensures fast loading times, enhanced security, and SEO optimization via clean URLs, meta descriptions, and automated sitemaps. Custom themes support dynamic sections like the About page (detailing the STEM mission) and Services page (outlining professional development, including OpenSciEd training models and pricing from detailed offerings).
Engineered a robust community forum as a dynamic alternative to a static FAQ, leveraging Grav CMS plugins for seamless integration and React for frontend interactivity. This feature-rich platform encourages engagement through pinned discussions to prioritize key topics (e.g., grant opportunities), like/dislike buttons for quick sentiment sharing, post and view counts to track participation, reporting mechanisms for content moderation, advanced search tools for efficient query resolution, and community statistics showcasing metrics (active users, total contributions). To extend collaboration, similar posting and discussion features were implemented on the Experiences page, enabling targeted conversations around individual exhibits.
Hosted locally for development and deployed via cloud web hosting, this app uses a lightweight JSON flat-file system for fast, persistent storage of user data.
