DegreeMaps started as a static site—an early proof of concept outlining the vision for student-driven academic planning. The latest iteration transforms it into a fully dynamic web platform, integrating Flask for server-side dynamism and SQL for structured data management, with SQLAlchemy (ORM) streamlining database interactions. Upgrading to Bootstrap 5 also provides a more modern, responsive front-end. This shift enables real-time user engagement, personalized academic planning, and seamless data handling—bridging the gap between static content and an interactive, scalable tool.

[Meticulously coded using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap 4, I crafted a static website that offers prospective clients and students a simplified and informative digital environment. This site comes to life with interactive elements thanks to jQuery and JavaScript. It's accessible to the world through FTP hosting on a shared service, with the source code available on my GitHub for reference.]

As we venture into the next phase of DegreeMaps, the vision extends to creating a dynamic, data-driven platform.
